The Women of Integrity™ award is presented to three business woman in the Western Pennsylvania region each year. Awardees are women of distinction who have balanced career and civic responsibility, who share their success by mentoring others and supporting their communities. The first award luncheon was held on December 4th, 2008 at The Oakmont Country Club.

Laura Rosato, Honeywell Specialty Materials

Laura is currently the Global Product Regulatory Stewardship and Occupational Health Risk Assessment Leader for Honeywell Electronic Materials.  She has responsibilities for 18 different manufacturing locations globally.  Laura has received four degrees from the University of Pittsburgh - B.S. in Biochemistry in 1981, M.S. degree in Biochemistry in 1985, Ph.D. in 1990 in Industrial Toxicology and an MBA in 2008. Her awards and recognition are too numerous to list. She serves on the board of directors for the Keystone Tall Tree Girl Scouts, is very active with  The  Oakland Community Council, and has supported The United Way for several years.

Lucy Seger, Home Instead Senior Care
 Lucy is the franchise owner and Chief Executive Officer of the Home  Instead Senior Care offices in the South Hills of Allegheny and Washington Counties. She began her business in April 1999.  Lucy is  a member  and  supporter of many community organizations including The National Private Duty  Association , South Western  PA Partnership for  Aging, the Advisory Council for Life Pittsburgh, the Pennsylvania Culture Change Coalition, the National  Association of  Professional   Geriatric Care Managers

   Carol Kinkela, Carabella 
 
Carol Kinkella is the owner of Carabella of Oakmont, a divine shop located on the corner of Washington Avenue and Allegheny River Blvd. The ladies boutique offers upscale clothing, accessories and shoes.  Carol began her career as a buyer at The Surrey in Shadyside.  Besides providing beautiful and sophisticated fashions, Carol also supports  many important causes.  This fall her annual fashion show gala raised nearly $60,000 for The Alzheimer's Association of Greater Pittsburgh which is just one of the causes she quietly and elegantly supports. Carol is noted for supporting dozens of charities including Juvenile Diabetes, Jones Legacy, The Crohns & Colitis Foundation and Relay for Life. 

 
2010 Nominations Can Be Submitted
Beginning June 1, 2009 To September 1, 2009
Winners will be selected according to the following criteria:
 
1. Business Experience and how the candidate has used her experience to positively influence her community.
 
2. The degree of leadership and ethics embraced by the candidate.
 
3. Special circumstances that have been overcome by the candidate.
 
4. Community service, mentoring and special projects or volunteerism performed by the candidate.  
 
Nominations will be considered for women who reside and/or work in the following areas:  Western Pennsylvania, Eastern Ohio, West Virginia, Northern Virginia, and Southern NY.  The winner will be expected to attend the awards ceremony in Pittsburgh, PA in December 2009.
